About Me
My name is Tasha Saecker, and I am the director of the Menasha Public Library in Menasha, WI. I started my library career over a decade ago as a children's librarian, and continue to adore books for children and young adults. They are the majority of what I read. Luckily, as the director of a small library, I still work with children and do the children's programming for the library, so I have an excuse for my reading habits!
I have two children of my own, nine-year-old Rowan and five-year-old Elijah. Both boys have been raised surrounded by the piles of books I haul home from the library. Occasionally in Kids Lit, I will refer to them as responding well to a particular book.
I hope in Kids Lit, you find a warm, friendly place where books for children and teens are celebrated.
I also maintain another blog, Sites and Soundbytes.
If you are an author or publisher and want to send me review copies, please send me an email at kidslit@menashalibrary.org to receive the mailing address. I only review titles that I really enjoy, so sending me a review copy is not a guarantee that your book will be reviewed on my blog.
