Dear Mary Pope Osborne,
I've almost read all your books! I have numbers 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 26, 28, and 32. I've thought of some titles for the 34th, 35th, and the 36th book. They are Indians on Independence day, Africa in the after noon,(or Africans in the after noon),and Native Americans on New Years Eve. I hope you can use them. I wish I could see you.
Sicerly,
Nathaniel

I teach 2nd grade and I have been reading the Magic Treehouse books to my classes for several years. They are fun, easy reading, and historically interesting. Every year my students fall in love with reading your books after I read to them. They get interested in chapter books because of the Magic Treehouse books and therefore become better readers because of it. I have a student in particular who is interested so deeply that it is hard for me to get him to put a book down to go on to other subjects. He has written a letter to you and I do not know where to send it. I'm sure you would enjoy it. Could you send me an address as to where we could send the letter to you? Thanks for writing with your wonderful imagination and making reading a great experience for my students.

Dear Mary Pope Osborne,
I am a second grader at Atherwood Elementary. We are doing a special project at school caled COM (Certificate of Merit). I chose reading as my subject and I am doing reports on the "Magic Tree School" books. One of my assignments was to write to my favorite author. I chose you for that. I love reading your books. They are excellent! I can't stop reading them. Please keep writing. These books make everyone happy. They are full of adventure. They are evry educational. Try reading a book yourself and you will feel very happy. Thank you for writing these books. I have read them since. I have read most of the books in the series. I have some of them, and the ones I don't have I borrow from the library or my friends. The adventure gets better and better. I am proud of myself for reading about these wonderful adventures.

Dear Ms. Osborne,
I would like to send you a copy of a Magic Tree House book that a first grade student wrote. This child is a bright child who has figured out your writing format. Currently, he is on his second Magic Tree House Book. Is there anyway that you could read and respond to his writing.
Thank you

My name is Riley I am 9 years old. I have read Midnight on the Moon, Sunset on the Sabertooth,Christmas in Camelot, Dolphins at Day Break.
My favorite book is Christmas in Camelot. I like it beacause Annie and Jack drank some of the majic water to get out of the cave.
You should make a book about going to a city in the future. The book should have robots and hovercrafts. I am making a book called The Gingerbread Bug.
A have a few questios I hope you can answer.
1. Where did you get the idea for Jack and Annie?
2. Where do you get the information for your books?
3. How long have you been writing books?
4. Did you ever have a tree house?
5 What was you favorite book when you were a child?
Your #1 Fan, Riley

My name is Nick Hopper. I was thinking of a book called Aliens At Evening or Aliens After School. The first one could be about Jack and Annie going into the Magic Tree House and then they go into space. The planet that they could go to would be Mars. I want them to get stuck in a volcano on Mars and have to find a way to get out. Then they have to find a key to open a door in Arizona. The reason why they have to find a key to Arizona is because there is a creater in Arizona. I am thinking about sending you an idea on what I mean. I will make pictures but not on every page. I am 8 1/2 years old just like Jack. I have 3 siblings. They are Cory, Avery, and Matt. My dad is in Iraq right now. He will be home in December. Thank you for your time. PS I will get that book to you as soon as possible.

Dear Ms. Osborne,
I like your Magic Tree House books. I think you should make more historical ones like "Twin Towers on Tuesday", "Rescue in Rwanda", and "Tsunami on Sunday".
I feel like Jack and Annie are my cousins.
Sincerely,
Maggie (age 8)
P.S. I write facts in a notebook like Jack.

Dear Mary Pope Osborne, I realy do love your Magic Tree House books and I know that hundreds of people love them too. They are perfect, especialy for kids! Of course I like some other books but these ones are the best books I love. But the reason I wrote to you is because I came up with an idea for your next Jack and Annie book. I thought it will be great for the Magic Tree House to send them to the ancient Russia when people didn't have much books, money and comfort.
I wish you all the best success in the whole world!

Dear Mrs. Osborne,
I got an idea for a magic tree house book today. It is so cool!!
Jack and Annie are hipmatized by an evil guy named Evan. By the way, I would like the book to be called "Hipmatized with Horrer". They go back in time to the boston tea party. The man who hipmatized them is british, so he hipmatizes them to make the british win the bosten tea party with the magic wand Jack has in his pack. I would greatly appreciate it if you took my idea for a magic tree house book.

I have an idea about what your next book should be about. It should be about when Jack an Annie go back to the time of Abraham Lincoln so they could experiance how it was back then. They could be up against the army and wars. They could see how Abraham Licoln lived. It would be a good book! Jack and Annie could see the Getysberg address. Well got to go my mom is making brownies. Good bye and I hope you use my idea.

Dear Mrs. Osborne
I have always wanted Jack and Annie to shrink to ant like size. And I thought that there could be a poem that said, "I can be gentle, I can be nice, I can be played with and a part of paradise."
And the answer would be the kind of sand ants use for their home. The book could be called 'Shrinking on Sunday'.

Dear Mary,
I want to tell you how much I enjoy reading your books and I am a big fan of yours. My name is Cameron and I am 8 years old and I am in the second grade. I also like to write books of my own and illustrate them. I won a regional Reading Rainbow contest for a book I wrote called Jungle Dance.
I saw your picture on the book jacket and I see you have a dog. What is his name? I have a dog named Kirby and he is a West Highland Terrier who just turned 13 years old. I love him very much. Where do you get all your ideas for your books? How old were you when you wrote your first book? I really like Jack and Annie – I feel like I am going on their adventures right along with them and even turning into the creatures and different characters also. Are you going to make your stories into movies? I would love to see them come to life. Thank you for giving me lots of adventures in my dreams and in my mind.
You are a great author and I hope to be one, too, someday.
Sincerely,
Cameron K.

I am almost your number 1 fan. But Jack and Annie should do this...Go to mount Rushamore...Solve 4 questions and here they are...Who carved mount Rushamore? Where is mount Rushamore? Who lived there before mount Rushamore was carved? Can you climb on mount Rushamore? Well there they are. And along the way they help a man find his pocket watch. From,

Dear Mrs. Osborne,
I really like a lot of your books.Hey, I maybe have a title for your 40th book. It could be called Chandelier on Chinese New Year. It could be about how Jack and Annie find the old chandelier and finds some great surprises and finds about the last secret of happiness, which is "Don't forget the ones who love you."
I also like your research guide books, too. I'd like to thank you, your husband, and Natalie Pope Boyce for helping you with the books.

Dear Mrs. Osborne,
Hello from Texas! My name is Stephen Lampe, and I have what MAY BE a good idea for another book! Well, I was thinking that the title could be “Tuesday in Texas” or “Thursday in Texas”. The book would be about Jack and Annie going back in time to Texas in 1836. That is when Texas started in a big fight with Mexico. There was a big battle at the Alamo with the Mexicans and their general Santa Anna. There is a lot of history there that helped make our country what it is today, and there were lots of important and brave men that fought for Texas. (Some of them were Stephen F. Austin, Davy Crockett, Sam Houston, William Travis, and Jim Bowie.) I learned all of this information in my 1st grade class this month!
I really love your books, and I think I’ve read about 34 of your books, plus I’ve loved the Titanic study guide. Your books make me interested in history! Keep up the good work!
Your friend,
Stephen Lampe
