And many liberal homeschoolers that will probably think these books are as ridiculous as a liberal librarian might. ;-) I've not read them, so cannot judge, but the author pretty much lost me at the title.

so much for the claim that there is no media bias.

Those aren't children's books, those are "soothe the parents" books. The cover of the first one is SO blatantly, well, arrogant.
As a conservative librarian, who believes in buying all the wrong books in case someone will read them, I'd like to say we're not all scared of liberals or thinking that global warming is passé.
Must I also say it? I loved And Tango makes three.

Idiocy abounds. Did he have a hand in the dinosaurs in the Garden of Eden display at the new creationist museum?

I'm in the liberal homeschooler camp with Kris, so let's not stereotype the homeschoolers. ;-) And I have a homeschooled 11-year old who thinks that global warming is the single biggest issue facing his generation.
I do agree that the title is clever, in an annoying, manipulative sort of way.

This is so scary no matter what side of the isle you line up on. Why would we want to teach children to fear and hate those with different points of view? What will this country be like in 30 years when we are even less capable of serious debate on issues? This is the kind of propaganda that fueled the cold war, but instead of us teaching children an irrational hatred of Communism (and Communist children an irrational hatred of the West) we are teaching them to hate their fellow countrymen.
These books make me die a little on the inside.

You people are sick. Liberal, conservative, I don't care what you are, this is messed up. Talk about brain washing. What ever happened to voting based on the issues at hand? You all need help.
